Desco team grows to meet the demand for building design support

As Desco settles into the Pell Frischmann Group the business is having another busy year with new opportunities across the UK. To support this we are pleased to announce a number of promotions and new staff appointments over the last few weeks across the UK offices.
 
Craig Jackson joins us as Technical Director based in our new Manchester office which opened earlier this year. With 25 years of experience in the building services industry he has a proven track record for successfully delivering M&E projects. He is well respected in the Manchester area and will play a key role in developing the new office. 
 
Kate Hepplewhite joins as Finance Manager and will be based in our Sunderland office. Kate’s appointment follows the promotion of Angela Hanson to Finance Business Partner, a new role working across the wider engineering group. Charlie Bramley joins us as Marketing & Bid Support Assistant to provide support to current team, also in the Sunderland office.

Rad Dimitrov, Junior Public Health Engineer – Croydon
Louise Gifford, Junior Mechanical Engineer – Sunderland 
Summer Balmer, Trainee Electrical Engineer – Sunderland 
Dean Champney, Trainee Electrical Engineer – Sunderland 
 
We are also pleased to announce that several staff members have been promoted. 
 
Danny Waley, based in Croydon has been promoted to Associate Director. Danny re-joined the business in 2014 and takes the lead role in the delivery of the public health services design across a broad range of projects; Tom Bentley, also based in Croydon has been promoted to Principal Electrical Engineer. Tom joined us in 2014 having project managed a number of the 2012 Olympic projects and has put his excellent knowledge and aptitude in this area to good use leading a number of the Croydon office projects. 
 
Simon Crowe, based in Sunderland has been promoted to Senior Electrical Engineer. Simon joined us in 2005 as Trainee Electrical Engineer whilst studying a Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Newcastle University.
