Moving into Manchester

Desco is delighted to announce the launch of its newest office in Manchester which is now open for business.

The practice has taken office space within Lowry House in the centre of the city; the office is officially open from today.

The launch of this new office gives Desco a physical presence in the heart of another major city in northern England, in addition to its head office in Sunderland, and its Leeds office which opened in summer 2016. This latest new location helps to strengthen further the practice’s position as one of the north of England’s leading M&E engineering consultancies.

Desco has a nationwide client base, served from offices in Sunderland, Leeds, Croydon and central London, with a healthy share of clients in the north of the country, stemming from having its roots in the North East. The new office in Manchester will place a design team closer to a number of existing clients in the North West region and also support the practice in focussing on new business opportunities in the area.

George Gifford, one of Desco’s board directors will oversee the management of the office and day to day running of projects delivered across the North West area.

Commenting on the launch of the new office George said “This is an exciting time of growth for Desco. Because of our highly-skilled team, commitment to quality and customer-focussed service we enjoy an excellent reputation within the industry. We hope the launch of an office in another key UK city will consolidate our reputation and help us to further enhance the service we deliver to our clients.”

The new Desco office within Lowry House, is centrally located on Marble Street, close to the city’s main retail area and local and national transport links.
