Plans revealed for Olympia London Exhibition Centre
Desco are delighted to announce they are working as part of the team delivering the planned £700m overhaul of the Olympia London Exhibition Centre.
Plans drawn up by world-renowned design studio Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC architects will see the iconic 130-year-old listed arched glazed exhibition centre refurbished and modernised.
These proposals also include a 1,500-seat theatre and performing arts space. There will also be 600,000 sq ft of new creative offices and studios as well as new restaurants, two hotels and cinemas joining the site.
As a London landmark, there will be increased green spaces throughout the 14-acre site. The major build project will be phased and is expected to take around four or five years to complete.
