Print Hall scoops two awards, RICS Award and Bristol Civic Society Design Award
A celebration of inspirational projects in the regions land, property and construction sectors saw Print Hall take home the 2018 RICS Award, under the Regeneration category.
Once a Bristol landmark, now a social living hub, this new state of the art student accommodation is providing a new home for up to 270 students, in the heart of Bristol City Centre.
With Bristol seeing a high demand for student accommodation, Desco delivered the building services engineering design, for this studio, filling it with individual en-suite rooms, shared kitchens and communal areas.
In recognition of the former newspaper print works, demolished in its place in 2011, this eleven-storey development was named Print Hall.
On June 21st, Print Hall was also awarded a Bristol Civic Society Design Award, a scheme which positively recognises developments in Bristol that have made a grand impact to the local environment.
