Desco completes Sunderland City 10k
Delighted to share our support, once again, fourteen members of our Sunderland Head Office team gathered in Keel Square to take part in the Sunderland City 10k run, on Sunday 13th May Sponsored by Siglion, Desco took to the streets with approximately 4,000 others and ran the eighth event, raising funds for our chosen charity, St. Benedict’s Hospice.
With some healthy competition amongst the team, we all had an amazing day! Those competing for Desco were: Neil Crowe, Paula Bewick, Mark McNab, Derek Bond, Rachael Smith, Dean Keith, Keith Ketchley, Neil Rooney, Louise Gifford, Marco Ambelez, Kayleigh Carr, Andrew Jobson, Mark Dixon and Abul Lais.
Whilst we all competed to achieve our own personal best, our quickest time amongst the team was 47:39. Well done to the whole team.
Desco would also like to announce that we raised a fantastic total of £609 for our chosen charity St Benedict’s Hospice, who were presented with the money we have raised on 25th May. We are absolutely thrilled and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who sponsored us.
