Regent Cinema, Redcar
Desco are delivering MEP Services Design on the new Regent Cinema in Redcar.
Working on behalf of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Desco are part of the multi-disciplinary design team delivering the new £9.6m Regent Cinema project in Redcar, the team includes our fellow colleagues at, GT3 Architects, Fairhurst’s and Identity Consult.
The scheme is being funded through the Tees Valley Combined Authority Investment Fund, and is set to provide a three-screen, 200 seat Cinema with licenced café overlooking the North Sea waterfront.

The design of the building includes some key art deco features, it also pays homage to the existing cinema which the team knew people would want to see.”
Desco are been an integral part of the design team and we have enjoyed a great collaborative ethos throughout.
We are thrilled with the designs for the new cinema and now we are on site we are looking forward to a completed scheme in early 2022.
This will be an exciting new venue for both the residents of Redcar & Cleveland and our visitors alike.
