Finlake Holiday Village
Desco worked as part of the team on the design and build of a brand new, state of the art, watersports and leisure village at an existing holiday park for leisure operator Haulfryn Group. We provided the M&E services and Pool Water Filtration design.
The new, three storey leisure building has been created in the heart of the park and is known as Finlake Falls. A series of interconnecting buildings have been stepped into a sloping hillside to create the centre.
Finlake Falls provides both holidaymakers and locals with a new main swimming pool, toddler pool and water playground, wet changing, an exercise studio and gymnasium, dry changing and café within the centre, along with associated plant and equipment. It also features a 500 capacity water park with tornado and twister flume slides and splash zones. There have also been a further 100 luxury lodges constructed within the park.
The project was delivered on time and to budget and was officially opened in 2018 by gold Commonwealth and Olympic silver medallist Sharron Davies.
