Desco Are Attending Footprint+ 2024
Desco are attending Footprint+ in London on 8th and 9th May 2024
David Starbuck, Danny Strickland and Keith Ketchley are attending Footprint+ in London on 8th and 9th May, the annual UK property world event centred around net zero.
David Starbuck will also be participating in a panel discussion at the conference, ‘Breathing new life into a 1930s leisure centre’ on 9th May at 11.30am on the Retrofit Agenda stage. The conversation will look at the revitalisation of The Seymour Centre which Desco are designing the mechanical and electrical services for the project. Alongside other members of the design team, including representatives from Pell Frischmann, Make Architects and client Westminster City Council they will be discussing the transformation of the centre to adapt its existing leisure purpose into a modern, sustainable community hub.
The Grade II listed building will be transformed into a modern, sustainable community hub, illustrating a fabric-first approach to decarbonisation and sustainability.
