A founder Director of Desco, Marco is a very experienced engineer with particular expertise in leisure and pool design. Marco graduated from university and gained design experience in both public and private sectors. He was a Director leading a multi-disciplined design team in a large national engineering consultancy before moving to set up Desco in 1998.

Marco is considered to be a deep thinker with a reputation for making valuable contributions to all aspects of project teams. A long-term interest in sustainable design techniques has seen him lead a number of schemes in recent years that are considered exemplar environmental projects and he is involved with a number of construction industry working groups and organisations relating to environmental and sustainability issues. Marco is also a CIBSE qualified Low Carbon Consultant and an experienced pool water designer which complements his work in the leisure sector.
