A founder Director of Desco, Paul takes a strategic overview relating to practice management and development.

He started in the industry by serving a trade apprenticeship in electrical contracting before moving into design in the early 1980s, graduating with a degree and becoming a Chartered Engineer. He made rapid progress through the career structure of a large national engineering consultancy, before deciding to set up Desco in 1998. Paul has experience in a wide range of construction sectors and has taken particular responsibility for the practice’s strategic management and business development activity.
